Terms & Conditions


1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By purchasing any live animal or product from PT Exotic FL LLC, the customer agrees to all Terms & Conditions, including Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Live Arrival Guarantee, and Species Restrictions.

2. ORDER ACCEPTANCE

Orders are considered accepted only after payment is received in full.
PT Exotic FL LLC reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order if:
- Customer provides incomplete or incorrect information
- Shipping temperatures are unsafe
- Species cannot be legally shipped to customer's state
- Improper communication from the customer


3. LEGAL COMPLIANCE

Customer is responsible for knowing state and local laws.
PT Exotic FL LLC follows:
- Florida FWC regulations (Class III Wildlife License & Import Permit)
- U.S. Federal Lacey Act rules
- USFWS import and CITES requirements
- FedEx live reptile shipping rules


4. ANIMAL SALES AGREEMENT

All animals are sold as healthy at the time of shipping.
Sexing:
- Guaranteed only if explicitly stated
- Otherwise "unsexed" or "best guess"
Coloration:
- Animals may differ in coloration due to stress, humidity, lighting, transport
Feeding:
- Newly arrived animals may refuse food for several days


5. LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE

PT Exotic FL LLC guarantees live arrival if ALL customer requirements are followed:
- Customer must be home at delivery
- Must open the box within 2 hours
- Mandatory unboxing video required for any claim
- Must report issues immediately
Guarantee does NOT apply if:
- Customer fails to be present
- Incorrect address provided
- Package left outside
- Poor husbandry after arrival


6. DOA CLAIM POLICY

Customer must submit:
- Unboxing video (continuous, no cuts)
- Photos of animal and packaging
- Proof of time of delivery and box opening
Approved claims receive:
- Full refund or replacement (if available)
- Shipping refunded only if seller error


7. SHIPPING POLICY

All animals ship FedEx Priority Overnight, Monday–Wednesday.
Temperature restrictions:
- No shipping below 35°F or above 90°F
- Extreme temperatures stop all shipping
Large shipments may incur adjusted shipping costs.


8. WEATHER HOLDS

If temperatures are unsafe, shipment will be delayed.
Customer agrees shipping may be postponed for safety.


9. REFUNDS & ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Refunds provided if:
- Seller error occurred
- DOA claim approved
Refunds NOT provided if:
- Customer changes mind
- State laws prevent shipping after order
- Customer provides incorrect address
Cancellations:
- Within 24 hours: OK
- After 24 hours: 15% restocking fee


10. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Customers must:
- Prepare proper enclosure BEFORE arrival
- Provide correct temperatures, humidity, UVB
- Avoid handling animal for 48 hours
- Follow all species-specific care guidelines


11. LIABILITY LIMITATION

PT Exotic FL LLC is not responsible for:
- Customer's improper husbandry
- Injuries caused by handling
- Legal violations by customer
- Delays caused by FedEx beyond seller's control


12. AGREEMENT

By completing a purchase, the customer legally accepts all Terms & Conditions in this document.
