PT Exotic was never meant to be just another reptile business.

It began more than 20 years ago — not as a company, but as a passion.

My name is Petr Tolasz, and I have been working with reptiles since childhood. Nature has fascinated me for as long as I can remember — its diversity, precision, and delicate balance. Reptiles were never just animals to me. They represented wildness, evolution, and the perfection of adaptation.

Long before PT Exotic became an officially registered U.S. company based in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, it was first and foremost a lifelong interest and deep study. What began as childhood fascination gradually turned into determination. What started as a hobby evolved, through years of breeding, studying, observation, successes, and challenges, into real experience.

I started as a hobby breeder, working with chameleons, geckos, and tortoises. Over the years, I successfully bred multiple species. Every clutch, every hatchling, and every challenge shaped my understanding of what truly responsible reptile breeding means.
