🐢 Russian Tortoise (Testudo horsfieldii)

Origin: Central Asia (Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Kazakhstan)

Coloration: Tan to olive carapace with dark brown to black markings

Adult size: 5–10 inches (13–25 cm)

Sex differences: Females larger and rounder; males smaller with longer tail and curved plastron

Lifespan: 40+ years

Breeding: All our tortoises are captive bred
